Describe what you see Assigment.

This is a picture of a Knossos from an angle. You can see the way it was constructed using bricks. How over time it has been falling apart. Yet the column are standing tall and proud still. The over hang that is being held up by the columns is also looking pretty well after the years. There seems t be some sort of picture in the background behind the columns. The light blue contrast with the dark red on it making a nice image. Knossos in general seems to use a lot of red in its colors. You can see more red in the background with the rest of the buildings in the back. A lot of the  building is square and blocky. You can see it in the back the different houses.

  1. Description of the use of colors is awesome, as well as descriptions of the architecture. Any idea what the coloring and the shapes of the buildings might mean, or is it just to look nice?

  2. Hi Reiley! I like how you also described the surrounding area of the Knossos. It helps with imagining the full picture. Were there any other pictures or details about the painting behind the columns? I wonder if the picture has any significance.
